TC Consult were pleased to work as Employer’s Agent and CDM Coordinator on this construction for a national private developer. The Design and Build JCT contract was delivered by Williams Southern, UK leaders in the design, construction and modification of petrol filling stations.
TC’s role included managing the repurposing of the canopy and overseeing the installation of new pumps and below-ground fuel tanks.
Hazardous work
The project involved demolishing and decontaminating the former filling station at the site, ground remediation, asbestos removal and grubbing up fuel-tanks, followed by the new build of a Sainsbury’s Local and a six-pump Petrol Filling Station, designed by CW Architects.
The project was completed on time and on schedule.
